As a leading Energy Broker, we help organisations take control of their energy costs.

Tender widely to save

When renewing energy contracts you can either contact 1 or 2 energy suppliers directly, or get specialist help from a broker, who tenders widely to find competitive rates from quality suppliers, saving you time and money. Since the days of the Big Six, there’s been a big increase in commercial suppliers. Choosing between them can be difficult.

As an impartial consultancy we work with a wide range of business gas, electricity and water suppliers. With many suppliers in the market, it is essential to look around and compare prices & terms to avoid pitfalls. Prices track commodity markets & move continually in response to risk, varying significantly between suppliers and even on the same day. Other price drives include supply availability, weather, political events & national distribution & environmental costs.

We also handle transfers between suppliers, help with billing problems, changes of tenancy, metering, data contracts & VAT declarations. We’ll anticipate contract renewals, ensuring that termination notices are submitted if required. We can also advise & broker renewable export contracts.

Keep it simple

Energy contracts are complex with multiple options for the same supply. Green or Brown pricing, Direct Debit vs. BACs, differential pricing depending on metering and pricing in more or less market risk? There are Pass-Through, Flexible, partially or Fully Fixed, early termination & volume tolerance charges. Some might be suitable whilst others may be unsuitable and increase business risk. We cut through the complexity & present options clearly.

Could I save by switching supplier?

Renewing with a current supplier is no guarantee of better rates. Loyalty is not usually rewarded. Comparative tendering at renewal is the only way to identify & secure savings. We tender widely and present detailed comparisons to evaluate the best option. We regularly see cases of excessive pricing, often on long durations, locking in commercial disadvantage.

Brokering costs?

Most companies purchase their energy using the services of a broker or Third Party Intermediary (TPI) resulting in quicker, cheaper outcomes than purchasing directly. Our brokerage charges are priced into the quotes we obtain from suppliers and are clearly spelt out in our appointment terms. We’re registered with the Ombudsman Resolution Service for peace of mind.
